Sometimes it's difficult to know when your vehicle needs to be seen by a mechanic. If you suspect something is wrong, it may be best to have a mechanic take a look at it to determine if there's a problem. Minimizing your concern or acting as if the problem will go away on its own, could cause a much larger problem. You could save yourself a lot of money and trouble by getting it diagnosed early instead.

Do you feel something out of the ordinary, such as shaking in the steering wheel, vibration while applying the brake, or does the brake pedal seem to go down a lot further than it used to?
Do you recognize a sound that you haven't heard in the past while driving? For example, do you hear a hissing sound, exhaust that is louder that it had been, or noise when turning the steering wheel?
Do you see anything unusual? Was there a puddle of fluid on the ground where you parked? Did the check engine light or some other warning light come on? Is there anything hanging down from the bottom of your vehicle.
Do you smell something that doesn't seem right? Maybe you smell gas, something burning, or oil.
